Talking about the match, LSG’s batting struggled, and they’ll need an extraordinary effort to chase down the target. They started well, with Akash Singh dismissing Priyansh Arya early with a well-placed outswinger.
Jos Inglis initially took charge, hitting Mayank Yadav for three consecutive sixes. However, once Inglis was out, Prabhsimran and captain Shreyas Iyer (45 off 25 balls) steadied the ship. Some poor fielding by Avesh Khan made matters worse, with Prabhsimran taking full advantage, hitting back-to-back sixes off him. Khan gave away 57 runs in four overs, including misfields that added extra runs.
Prabhsimran and Iyer added 78 runs in 7.5 overs before Rathi dismissed Iyer. Despite the setback, Prabhsimran continued to dominate, and LSG bowlers struggled to bowl to his strengths.
