What grabbed everyone’s attention was Shubman Gill’s fiery reaction after catching Tilak Varma. The Mumbai Indians batter was dismissed in the 14th over when Gerald Coetzee took his first wicket of the match.

Coetzee bowled a full delivery wide outside off, tempting Tilak to drive. But the left-hander mistimed it, sending a simple catch to mid-off where Shubman Gill was ready.

After taking the catch, Gill celebrated with a bold gesture by putting a finger to his lips to silence the Wankhede crowd. The moment quickly went viral online.

Tilak Varma Fails to Deliver as MI Crumble

Tilak Varma struggled with the bat, scoring just 7 off 7 balls without a boundary. His dismissal left the Mumbai Indians at 113/6.

MI had a rough start, losing both openers early. Will Jacks (53) and Suryakumar Yadav (35) steadied things, but a collapse followed.

Corbin Bosch added a crucial 27 off 22 balls to help MI reach 155. For GT, Sai Kishore was the best bowler with 2/34, while the rest of the bowlers took one wicket each.
