IPL 2025: Vipraj Nigam impressed everyone with his amazing performance during the 10th IPL 2025 match between Delhi Capitals (DC) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam on Sunday, March 30.

Vipraj Nigam’s Stunning Catch Shines in IPL 2025

Mohit Sharma broke Heinrich Klaasen and Aniket Verma’s strong 77-run partnership for the sixth wicket, thanks to a brilliant catch by Vipraj Nigam. Mohit bowled at 129.1 kph, delivering a slightly fuller-length ball.

IPL 2025: Vipraj Nigam Grabs A Blinder To Dismiss Heinrich Klaasen

Klaasen tried to hit the ball over mid-on or midwicket, but it took a leading edge and went high in the air. Vipraj Nigam reacted quickly, sprinting backward from point. He nearly ran past the ball but stayed focused and pulled off an incredible catch.

Due to his brilliant effort, Klaasen had to walk back to the pavilion after scoring 32 runs off 19 balls, hitting two fours and two sixes against Delhi Capitals in Visakhapatnam.

Aniket Verma’s Heroics Lift Sunrisers Hyderabad

Delhi Capitals had a perfect start, thanks to Mitchell Starc’s brilliant performance in the powerplay against SRH in IPL 2025. Travis Head struggled to find last season’s form and was dismissed for 22 off 12 balls by his Aussie teammate Starc, putting Hyderabad in trouble.

However, Bhopal’s Aniket Verma stepped up for SRH with a superb knock of 74 off 41 balls, smashing five fours and six sixes. Though Mohit Sharma ended his partnership with Klaasen, the duo helped SRH recover and post a respectable total.

Aniket’s 74 was the second-highest score by an SRH batter at No. 5 or below in IPL history, behind Klaasen’s unbeaten 80 off 34 against Mumbai Indians in IPL 2024.

Earlier in the day, Sunrisers Hyderabad won the toss, and captain Pat Cummins chose to bat first. They made one change, bringing in Zeeshan Ansari for left-arm pacer Simarjeet Singh. For Delhi Capitals, KL Rahul returned to the team and replaced Sameer Rizvi.
