RCB vs GT, IPL 2025: Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) suffered a big setback in their IPL 2025 match against Gujarat Titans (GT). Star batter Virat Kohli got injured during the second innings of the game at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Wednesday, April 2.

The incident occurred on the 5th ball of the 12th over when Krunal Pandya was bowling to Sai Sudharsan. The left-arm spinner delivered a fastball outside off-stump, and Sudharsan played a powerful sweep shot straight towards deep mid-wicket.

Big Update On Virat Kohli’s Injury

Fortunately for Royal Challengers Bengaluru, the injury wasn’t too serious, and Kohli was able to continue playing. However, it wasn’t a great match for him, as he struggled with the bat, scoring only 7 runs off 6 balls.

RCB coach Andy Flower has confirmed that Virat Kohli is fine and will be ready for the next game against Mumbai Indians at Wankhede Stadium. Addressing concerns about Kohli’s fitness in the post-match press conference, Flower stated, “Virat looks fine, he’s okay.”
