RCB vs GT, IPL 2025: Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) suffered a big setback in their IPL 2025 match against Gujarat Titans (GT). Star batter Virat Kohli got injured during the second innings of the game at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Wednesday, April 2.
Virat Kohli Suffers Injury While Fielding
The incident occurred on the 5th ball of the 12th over when Krunal Pandya was bowling to Sai Sudharsan. The left-arm spinner delivered a fastball outside off-stump, and Sudharsan played a powerful sweep shot straight towards deep mid-wicket.
Virat Kohli, who was fielding at deep mid-wicket, misjudged the ball as it bounced in front of him and skidded. It struck his fingers before rolling to the boundary. He was in visible pain, dropping to his knees while holding his right hand.
