The Indian Premier League (IPL)  has been more exciting in the past few matches. Today is an epic battle between the Delhi Capitals and the Punjab Kings. This match will be played at Arun Jaitley Stadium, New Delhi, which is the Delhi Capitals’ home ground as well. Punjab Kings, led by Shreyas, are one of the finest sides this season so far. It’s the 35th match of season 19, where all eyes will be on KL Rahul, as he is on the verge of creating a historic milestone today. Rahul can break MS Dhoni’s record.

KL Rahul can surpass MSD

KL Rahul is the 7th person to make the most runs in the history of the Indian Premier League. He is only 13 runs behind India’s greatest Captain Mahdendra Singh Dhoni. Rahul has played 152 matches and 142 innings with a strike rate of 137.89 and 42.89 average he made 5427 runs in total. Which is only 13 runs less than MS Dhoni. If he makes just 13 runs, then he will become the 6th-highest run getter in IPL history, surpassing MS Dhoni.

Lokesh Rahul has been so good in this season and especially in the last match against Royals Challengers Bangalore. Rahul scored 57 runs off 34 balls, including six fours and two sixes, at a strike rate of 167.65. Out of 6 matches, with the help of two half-centuries, he scored 205 runs in this season so far. He used to hit boundaries on 2.6 balls, which shows his intent towards the game. He has shown an aggressive approach this season. He might break Dhoni’s record today.
