His best performance came against Mumbai Indians, where he picked a hat trick by taking wickets of Hardik Pandya, Keiron Pollard, and Rahul Chahar. He is used as the death-over specialist and took most of the wickets with his variations. Many batters were unable to pick up his slower ball. This brilliant performance helped him to make his debut for the Indian team.
