IPL Records and Statistics – Individual Bowling Records for Best Career Average

 Several teams entered and exited different tournaments, and some had their names changed. Every year, a round-robin system is used for the event, in which each team plays the other twice, with each game taking place at one of the teams’ respective home venues.

The IPL’s record for most runs scored since its inception in 2008 belongs to Indian batsman Virat Kohli. Chris Gayle, however, retains several of the records for individual scorers, including the highest individual score in a match (175 runs off 66 balls), the most centuries (six), the most sixes scored (326), the most sixes in a match (17), and the fastest century (from 30 balls). AB de Villiers is the most Game-Day Player of the Award winner (24). For most wickets taken, Dwayne Bravo retains the record (172).

Sohail Tanvir

With a top average of 12.09, Pakistan’s Sohail Tanveer is the bowler with the best average in IPL. Sohail was one of the most aggressive players on the field, he was also the calmest. In 2008, he was a key contributor to the Rajasthan Royal’s IPL championship victory.

Dilhara Fernando

Former Sri Lankan cricketer Dilhara Fernando was born on July 19, 1979. he was a right-arm fast-medium bowler who played three seasons for Mumbai Indians where he did a great job and contributed to the team’s victory in 2013. he has delivered 234 balls with conceding 294 runs having an average of 17.29 which is the second-best in IPL history.

Brad Hodge

His total number of centuries and half-centuries was 0. In terms of bowling, Brad Hodge had thrown 234 balls in IPL, claimed 17 wickets, and allowed 303 runs in total. His average was 17.82. Brad Hodge, who was then in his teen years, immediately attracted comparisons to Shane Warne due to his boyish appearance and similar motion.

Hodge made his IPL debut in 2008 for KKR. After two seasons with KKR, he played with KTK for one season, After he went RR and played two more seasons. 

Mohsin Khan 

Mohsin Khan is an Indian uncapped fast bowler currently playing for LSG. He has played two seasons for this team and contributed so much to his team. In two seasons he has delivered 258 balls and gave 304 runs with an average of 17.92. He is young and looking for more to achieve in his career.

Lungi Ngidi

The faces of South Africa’s perspective fast-bowling attack are Lungisani Ngidi and Kagiso Rabada. Standing tall at 1.93 meters, Ngidi can bowl above 140 kph, seam it either way, and keep the batsmen on their toes with punishing short-pitched deliveries. Additionally, he has a reputation for bowling big balls with an open-chested bowling run-up.

In January 2018, Ngidi replaced Dale Steyn, who had suffered a heel injury in the first Test at Newlands, Cape Town, and made his Test debut against India. A six-fer on his debut, he concluded with the ideal script and left everyone in awe of his speed, hostility, and demeanor.
