In a brutal onslaught, the KKR squad batted first and registered a massive total of 261/6 in 20 overs with their dominant openers; Phil Salt (75 runs off 37 deliveries), Sunil Narine (71 runs off 32 deliveries) and fierce finishers Andre Russell and Shreyas Iyer.

Although the Punjab Kings (PBKS) were struggling to find momentum in the IPL 2024 edition, the thrilling match against KKR proved to be an ultimate gamechanger. With prominent cricketers including Prabhsimran Singh, Jonny Bairstow and Shashank Singh, the squad played a fearless innings and successfully chased down the towering total of 261/6 and scored a match-winning total of 262 runs in 18.4 overs.

The Punjab Kings (PBKS) scored a total of 245 runs in 20 overs at the loss of six wickets with Shreyas Iyer being their top performer with a stellar knock of 82 runs off just 36 deliveries.

Although there was immense pressure on the top-order batting lineup of the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), the sensational and one of the most reliable batsmen of the SRH squad, Abhishek Sharma, took command of the squad and smashed a match-winning innings of 141 runs off just 55 deliveries undeniably bringing his team back into the game. Later in the match, Travis Head smashed another match-winning knock of 66 runs off 37 deliveries. The duo’s iconic 171-run partnership played a major role in SRH’s victory against Punjab Kings (PBKS).

Often hailed as the highest-ever run chase of that time in the IPL format, Rajasthan Royals successfully chased a daunting total of 223 runs against the Kings XI Punjab (Punjab Kings) and created history at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium.

Although the Sharjah Cricket Stadium is often hailed as one of the most favorable pitches for batsmen due to smaller boundaries, chasing a towering total of 223 runs in 20 overs still initially seemed to be a daunting challenge for the Rajasthan Royals (RR) franchise. The dynamic batting line-up of the Rajasthan Royals (RR), including Sanju Samson (85 runs off 42 deliveries), Steve Smith (50 runs off 27 deliveries) and Rahul Tewatia (53 runs off 31 deliveries), led the squad from the front and ceased a sensational victory against the Kings XI Punjab (Punjab Kings) squad after scoring 226 runs in 19.3 overs at the loss of six wickets.

The nail-biting match between the Rajasthan Royals (RR) and the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) that left the fans glued to their seats till the very last over, took place on 16 April 2024 at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata. While the match witnessed KKR’s Sunil Nadine rise to overnight fame with his maiden T20 century with 109 runs off 56 deliveries, it also witnessed a formidable comeback of the RR’s Jos Buttler, who remained unbeaten with 107 runs off just 60 deliveries.

Although the Rajasthan Royals (RR) were hanging by a thread till the 13th over of the match with a total of 121 runs at the loss of six wickets, when Jos Buttler walked in and took over the command with his fearless and dominant innings. Buttler’s unbeaten 107 runs led the Rajasthan Royals (RR) to a shocking victory against the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), registering a massive total of 224 runs in 20 overs at the loss of eight wickets.
