Cristiano Ronaldo, a footballing God, a 5 Time Ballon D’ Or winner, 5 times Champions League winner, except for the Football World Cup, Cristiano has won it all. But recent reports say that Max Allegri was not comfortable with Cristiano Ronaldo after his first season at Juventus. As per Reports Allegri and Andrea Agnelli had a conversation in 2019 regarding Cristiano, in which the Former said –“Get rid of Ronaldo, he’s blocking the growth of the team and the club.” As per the coach, Cristiano wanted more game time which stopped the younger players from coming through.

Although Cristiano and Allegri won Serie A together, it was Allegri who was sacked rather than Ronaldo. Back to 2021 and Juve have not once made it past the Champions League quarter-finals since Ronaldo signed. Ever since Porto defeated Juventus, questions are raised about Ronaldo’s presence at Juventus. He failed to find the net in both the legs of the Champions League round of 16 against Porto. Players like Chiesa and Morata are more effective in front of goal than Ronaldo in the Champions League and the domestic League.

Despite Ronaldo’s presence in Juventus, the current rankings of Juventus are the worst in the past 10 years. Inter are sitting at the top of the table at 74 points,12 points clear of Juventus who is at 3rd position with AC Milan at 2nd with 63. Juventus has won the last 9 Scudetto’s but this time it seems highly unlikely. Ronaldo was brought to Juventus for Champions League glory, but not only they have lost their European dream but they are very close to losing out the 10th Scudetto which Juventus never even thought of. Ronaldo is not only heavy on Juve’s pocket he is now also costing them their titles. It would definitely be better for both parties to move forward without each other.
