US shooters swept the podium in the women’s skeet event on the second day of the ISSF World Cup 2025 event in Lima, Peru.

Kim Rhode topped an all-American podium taking the country’s total medal count to five.

The three-time Olympic champion bagged her 26th World Cup gold medal to move within one of Slovenia’s shooting legend Rajmond Debevec in the all-time table.

Rhode, 45, was accompanied by compatriots Samantha Simonton (silver) and Dania Vizzi (bronze) on the podium of the shotgun discipline.

“It’s incredible to be out there with so many talented women and to showcase the sport has been really fun. I’m very grateful,” Rhode said.

“I don’t think anybody would say it gets any better than having your teammates out there. We’re always pushing each other and that bar is rising each and every year. I’m very honoured that we were able to sweep the podium, that’s a rare thing.”

US shooters also produced a one-two. in the men’s skeet final, with Dustan Taylor clinching his first individual World Cup gold ahead of compatriot Christian Elliott. Han Xu of the People’s Republic of China completed the podium with a bronze.

In the mixed team 10m air pistol final, India’s Suruchi Inder Singh and Saurabh Chaudhary beat Yao Qianxun and Hu Kai of China to secure gold, while the another Chinese duo of Ma Qianke and Zhang Yifan took home the bronze.
