The ISU World Team Trophy 2025 will mark the end of the 2024-25 figure skating season, The top six teams from this season’s competitions will compete in the biennial event.
The much awaited event will take place in Tokyo, Japan, from 17–20 April.
Canada, France, Georgia, Italy, Japan, and the United States are the teams which have been qualified.
All eyes will be on the four newly crowned world champions from the ISU World Figure Skating Championships 2025 held in Boston at the end of last month. They are USA’s Ilia Malinin, Alysa Liu, and Madison Chock / Evan Bates, as well as Japan’s Miura Riku / Kihara Ryuichi.
Each team sends two men, two women, one pairs team, and one ice dance team. Points are earned based on how they finish in each segment, with the top team winning the title.
Team USA are the defending champions from 2023.
