What was even more glaring than his heroic goal was the celebration that followed. Vardy pointed at his Premier League badge on the forearm, trying to message out to Tottenham fans reminding them about Leicester’s incredible  title win in 2016. The gesture was meant to be cheeky as Tottenham are yet to win their maiden PL title. It is worth mentioning that Vardy now has scored nine goals in 17 appearances against Tottenham in the Premier League.
