In a complete overhaul of the previous doubles format, 16 teams will compete from 19-20 August. Eight teams received direct entry through their rankings, while the remaining eight spots were allocated wildcards.

Matches will be held in a best-of-three format up to four games, with no advantage points and a 10-point tiebreak should the match require a decider, instead of the typical third set.

“We will try to win. But obviously it’s going to be really, really fun.”
