Jannik Sinner took to his official X handle and wrote: “Thank you to all the fans around the world for voting for me. Winning this award for the second time means so much to me, especially because it’s coming directly from you.

The ATP Fans’ Favourite Player of the Year award has been given annually since 2000. Brazil’s Gustavo Kuerten was the first to win it, followed by Marat Safin in 2001 and 2002.

For nearly two decades, the award was dominated by Roger Federer, who won it every year from 2003 to 2021. Rafael Nadal, who retired in 2022, won the award that year, and since then, Jannik Sinner has been the recipient.
