Sai Sudharsan and Washington Sundar gave Gujarat Titans a strong chance by adding 84 runs together for the third wicket. They were hitting boundaries easily and kept their team in the hunt to chase the target of 229 runs.

By the end of the 13th over, Gujarat Titans had reached 148 for 2. Then, Mumbai Indians captain Hardik Pandya gave the ball to Jasprit Bumrah. Bumrah gave away just three singles in his first three balls, and then bowled a perfect yorker that got Sundar out.

The left-handed batter had no answer to the perfect yorker. The ball was aimed at the leg-stump, and Sundar couldn’t stop it. He tried to flick it but missed completely.

Jasprit Bumrah was full of energy and celebrated the important wicket by giving Sundar an intense send-off. Sundar walked back after scoring 48 runs from just 24 balls, which included 5 fours and 3 sixes.

Mumbai Indians posted 228/5 after Rohit Sharma scored 81 and got support from Bairstow (47) and others. Gujarat Titans got off to a strong start with Sudharsan (80) and Sundar (48) keeping them in the chase.

But Jasprit Bumrah’s yorker dismissed Sundar, and tight bowling from Ashwani Kumar and Trent Boult slowed GT down. With 24 needed off the last over, Richard Gleeson gave away just 3 runs, sealing the win for MI.
