Jofra Archer’s Performance Shatters IPL Bowling Records

After being hammered so badly, Archer set the record for the most expensive spell in IPL history. The England bowler broke Mohit Sharma’s record from last season, where he had conceded 73 runs against Delhi Capitals, to become the most expensive bowler in IPL history.

Archer’s tough day started early in the powerplay when Travis Head hit him for 23 runs in one over, with a mix of fours and a huge six. It only got worse from there as Ishan Kishan hit three massive sixes in Archer’s third over.

By the time Archer bowled his final over, it was a disaster. He gave up five boundaries, including a waist-high no-ball that raced away for four byes.
