Moxley Rules AEW While Rollins and Reigns Rule WWE

Dean Ambrose - WWE Champion

Since joining AEW, Moxley has been a big name in the company. He’s even been AEW World Champion and remains one of the top stars there. Meanwhile, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns are still dominating in WWE.

The three used to be one of WWE’s most powerful teams The Shield. But things changed when Moxley left, and now each of them walks a very different path.

Seth Rollins Talks About The Shield, Hall of Fame, and the Future

Seth Rollins recently showed up at WWE World, where someone asked him who he wants to induct him into the WWE Hall of Fame when the time comes. His answer was full of respect and nostalgia he said he would choose Roman Reigns or Dean Ambrose (Jon Moxley).

This shows that even though they are in different companies, the bond between them is still strong.

Is a WWE Return for Dean Ambrose Possible?

Fans keep asking if Jon Moxley could return to WWE someday. But right now, that seems unlikely.

In 2022, Moxley signed a new five-year deal with AEW. That means he’s locked into his contract until at least 2027. So for now, any return to WWE is just a dream.

Seth Rollins also spoke about the chances of The Shield reuniting. On a radio show, he said:

“I mean, look, one of our guys is over in the other company. So he ain’t coming. And Roman Reigns and I are here for life. Look, our paths are gonna be intertwined. We’re gonna crisscross here and there until both of us are done and retired. So you never know. You never know what WrestleMania is going to look like. You never know what next month is going to look like. Could be anytime.”

Could There Still Be a Mini Shield Reunion?

Even though Moxley isn’t coming back soon, there might still be a Shield-style moment at WrestleMania 41. Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins are both set to face CM Punk in a huge Triple Threat Match.

Some fans think that Rollins and Reigns might team up for a short time to take down Punk, just like they used to do in The Shield days. It wouldn’t be a full reunion, but it would still give fans that classic vibe.
