It is official now that Jose Mourinho will join AS Roma as a club manager and will replace Paulo Fonseca, the club has also announced on their website. Jose Mourinho on his official Instagram shared the latest post and conveyed through his statement that “he couldn’t turn down a club with like AS Roma.

Mourinho 58, who has chosen to almost immediately return to football following his exit from Spurs. Jose has won 25 major trophies in his career to date. Managed clubs like FC Porto, Chelsea, Inter Milan, Real Madrid, Manchester United, and Tottenham Hotspur. He has also won top-flight titles in Italy, Spain, and Portugal. Jose on his Instagram shared it too! And he Will take charge of the club from the 2021-22 campaign. “I thank the Friedkin family for choosing me to lead this great club and for making me part of their vision,’ said Mourinho. ‘After discussing with the owners and with Tiago Pinto, I immediately understood how high the ambition of this club is. ‘This aspiration and this drive are the same ones that have always motivated me and together we want to build a winning path in the years to come. The incredible passion of the Roma fans convinced me to accept the job and I can’t wait to start next season. ‘At the same time, I wish Paulo Fonseca the best of luck and ask the media to understand that I will only make statements in due course.
