The FIH Men’s Junior Hockey World Cup 2025 is set to enter its penultimate stage as the as the four semi-finalists have been confirmed. The two semifinal matches of the tournament take place on Sunday, December 7, at the Mayor Radhakrishnan Hockey Stadium in Chennai.
All four quarterfinal matches of the FIH Junior World Cup 2025 took place on Friday. In the first quarterfinal, Spain defeated New Zealand in a hard-fought match by 4-3. In the second quarterfinal, the winner was decided through a penalty shoot-out, where Germany beat France 2-1 in penalties to qualify for the final four after the match ended 2-2 at the end of regulation time.
The third quarterfinal saw Argentina beat Netherlands 1-0 to set their semifinal clash with Spain. Finally, in the last quarterfinal match, the result was determined through penalty shoot-out after India and Belgium ended 2-2 tied after four quarters. India then won the shoot-out 4-3 to win the match and set the semifinal clash with Germany.
