Indian Premier League (IPL) was called off in the middle after multiple cases of COVID-19 were recorded in different teams. Now, it has been decided that the remainder IPL would be conducted in UAE between September and October after a lot of discussions.

However, the fabs won’t be able to witness most of their favourite players as they won’t be available because of their ongoing matches at that time.

New Zealand would be playing 3 match ODIs and T20Is against Pakistan in UAE. The New Zealand Cricket Board is likely to expect the players to play for their country and stay in good touch for the T20 World Cup. Players like Kane Williamson, Finn Allen, Kyle Jamieson and Trent Boult.

On the other hand Afghanistan will be gearing up to play Pakistan in an ODI series in UAE which means Sunrisers Hyderabad’s ace spinner Rashid Khan is very likely to miss the IPL .

The above players missing out on the occasion could very well put their teams on a backfoot as they have played an integral part for their sides.
