The Khelo India Para Games 2025 is scheduled to take place from March 20 to 27 in the Indian capital city of New Delhi.
The events will be held across three different venues-– Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Indira Gandhi Stadium and the Dr Karni Singh shooting range – where top para-athletes from the country will showcase their passion and determination.
Over 1200 athletes representing 36 states and Union Territories across the country are expected to participate in the second edition of the Khelo India Para Games 2025.
Star athletes including gold medallist archer Harvinder Singh, Club thrower Dharambir, and high Jumper Praveen Kumar will take to the field at the Games.
The Khelo India Para Games is part of the Indian government’s Khelo India initiative to promote sports at the grassroots levels in the country.

The Games will feature six sports which are as follows:
- Archery
- Athletics
- Badminton
- Powerlifting
- Shooting
- Table tennis

Part of the government of India’s Khelo India initiative, which promotes sports at the grassroots levels in the country, this will be the second edition of the Khelo India Para Games.
Approximately 1200 athletes representing 36 states and Union Territories across the country are expected to participate in KIPG 2025.

The first edition of the Khelo India Para Games was also held in New Delhi in December 2023 in which Haryana topped the medal tally with 40 gold, 39 silver and 26 bronze. Uttar Pradesh and Tamil Nadu finished second and third, respectively.
In 2025, the Khelo India Para Games will be the second national event organised by the Sports Authority of India after the Khelo India Winter Games.
