Khelo India Youth Games 2025 is underway in the Indian state of Bihar with youngsters from across the country demonstrating their skills in various sports.
The seventh edition of the flagship Games- a part of the Khelo India initiative of the Indian government- which kicked off on May 4 will run through till 15.
Over 5,000 young athletes are competing for medals in 27 sports. Apart from individual glory, the state or union territory that win the most gold medals at the end of competition will clinch the overall championship.
Maharashtra currently top the Khelo India Youth Games 2025 medal table with 18 gold medals, 16 silvers and 14 bronze. They have clinched a total of 48 medals. Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan are second with exactly nine golds, three silvers and four bronze medals each.
