The powerplay of the KKR vs DC clash began with a powerful first over for the Capitals, where 10 runs came, including back-to-back boundaries from Abhishek Porel. In the second over, KL Rahul took charge, and in the third, a six and a four came off the fourth and fifth balls, respectively. The fourth over produced 13 runs, maintaining DC’s strong momentum. 

The first breakthrough came in the fifth over when Saurabh Dubey dismissed Abhishek Porel for 22 off 18 balls. The sixth over ended with a six and a four as DC finished the powerplay at 53/1, with Sahil Parakh unbeaten on 11 off 6 balls and KL Rahul unbeaten on 18 off 12 balls.

KKR vs DC: Middle Overs Were in the Favour of Delhi Capitals 

KKR vs DC, the first phase of the middle overs started slowly, with only 4 runs in the 7th over. Then KL Rahul took charge and smashed a six on Cameron Green’s bowling, followed by a four on the third ball as the 8th over ended with 13 runs. Varun Chakravarthy’s 9th over gave away 10 runs. 

In the 10th over, the second breakthrough came when Sahil Parakh got out for 24 off 17 balls. A big over for Delhi came in the 11th over, where 20 runs were scored, including 3 fours and 1 six. The Capitals reached 108/2, with Axar Patel unbeaten on 10 off 6 balls and KL Rahul unbeaten on 50 off 25 balls.

KKR vs DC, the second phase of the middle overs started with a controlled over from Sunil Narine, as only 6 runs came from the 12th over. KL Rahul continued to keep the scoreboard moving before Anukul Roy came into the attack in the 13th over. Rahul immediately punished the short balls with two boundaries, but the breakthrough finally came when Roy dismissed Rahul for a brilliant 60 off 30 balls. The over still produced 13 runs and kept Delhi’s momentum alive.

Cameron Green returned in the 14th over and maintained disciplined lengths, but Axar Patel finished the over strongly with a well-timed boundary through deep extra cover as 8 runs came from it. Varun Chakravarthy slowed things down further in the 15th over, conceding only 5 runs with tight lines and clever variations against Axar Patel and David Miller.

The 16th over from Kartik Tyagi brought momentum back towards Delhi as David Miller attacked the short ball and smashed a six over square leg. Axar Patel rotated strike smartly at the other end while DC added 10 important runs in the over. At the end of the 16th over, Delhi Capitals reached 150/3, with Axar Patel unbeaten on 25 off 20 balls and David Miller unbeaten on 13 off 11 balls.

DC Finish Strong With Explosive Death Overs Surge

KKR vs DC, the death overs started with Axar Patel attacking Varun Chakravarthy in the 17th over as two massive sixes came from his bat, including a straight hit back over the bowler’s head. Varun used clever wide lines and variations to slow things down before finally getting the breakthrough as Axar Patel departed for 39 off 25 balls. Still, the over produced 17 runs and kept Delhi’s momentum strong heading into the final phase.

Saurabh Dubey returned brilliantly in the 18th over and executed his slower balls and yorkers with control, conceding only 8 runs despite Ashutosh Sharma finishing the over with a clever ramp boundary over the keeper. Kartik Tyagi’s 19th over turned expensive as Ashutosh counterattacked aggressively. A fortunate boundary over the keeper was followed by a towering six over extra cover as Delhi collected 12 runs from the over despite multiple reviews and dot balls creating pressure.

The final over from Saurabh Dubey began with David Miller launching consecutive sixes, first over deep square leg and then over wide long-off. Dubey responded strongly with yorkers and slower deliveries before dismissing Miller for 28 off 19 balls. Ashutosh Sharma continued to rotate strike in the closing moments as DC finished their innings at 203/5. Ashutosh remained unbeaten on 18 off 11 balls while Tristan Stubbs stayed unbeaten on 0 off 1 ball.
