There’s some good news for the Indian fans as the Indian cricket team opener KL Rahul is likely to be back in the upcoming 5-match T20I series against West Indies. India is currently playing the 3-match ODIs in England. After this Indian team is due to play against West Indies in the 3-match ODI series.

Another Indian opening batter Shikhar Dhawan who was back in the ODI squad for this upcoming series against West Indies will be leading the side. Shikhar Dhawan was also named in the Indian squad for the 3-match ODI series against England which is currently going on. He also played the first match on Tuesday, 12th July.

After this 3-match ODIs, Indian team will play 5 T20Is against West Indies. According to reports, KL Rahul will be making a comeback in the squad as well as in the team for this series. However BCCI hasn’t confirmed this news yet but the team selection for this series is near. KL Rahul couldn’t travel to England as he sustained a groin injury ahead of the South Africa series where he was chosen ‘captain’. Now after he had his surgery in Germany, it is likely that he (KL Rahul) will be fit to play again.
