Indian cricket team is at Trinidad to play 3-match ODI and 5-match T20I series against West Indies. The ODI series has already started and India are leading it by 2-0. Indian cricket team opener KL Rahul was named in the squad for both these series (ODIs and T20Is), but haven’t feature for any game and it is likely now that he won’t be playing in any game in this series.
Opening batter KL Rahul was tested positive ahead of the first ODI of three against West Indies. The members of the T20I squad along with the skipper Rohit Sharma has already travelled to Trinidad for the upcoming T20I series against West Indies which will be starting on 29th July. According to espncricinfo.com, KL Rahul has been advised by his medical team and professionals that he needs atleast one week rest and it is still unclear that after that he will be match fit.
