But according to Alejandro Garnacho, a Manchester United player, “Lamine Yamal is The Best Player In The World”. Many other prominent footballing personalities have also celebrated the teenager’s rise to the very top.

“Lamine Yamal is The Best Player In The World”

“Lamine Yamal is a big game player. He showed us the way because making it 2-1 was really important. He’s a fantastic player and you see his quality in big games. It’s great to have him here,” said Hansi Flick. 

“In the big matches, he shows up, and I think he enjoyed the situation. I’m really happy that this talent, if it only comes every 50 years like Simone said, I’m glad it’s for Barcelona.”

“He’s special. I’ve said it before, but he’s a genius,” Flick said.

Opposition coach Simeone Inzaghi has also praised the teenage wonder as he said in the Press Conference

“I’ve never seen a player like Lamine Yamal in the last 8-9 years. We had to put three on him and, obviously, spaces opened up elsewhere,” he told Prime Video.

“He caused us huge problems, as we had to double up the marking every time, it wasn’t enough, so by tripling up we’d leave gaps elsewhere and were forced to sit deeper.

“Fortunately, he too lost some intensity over time, as Barcelona too have played many games this season. It was a very good second half performance.”

Erling Haaland was clearly impressed

Manchester City’s Erling Haaland was clearly impressed. The City striker posted a message to his Snapchat story alongside a photo of Yamal, writing: “This guy is incredible.” 

Lamine Yamal’s performance was incredible in the 1st leg of the semi final and will also be vital for the 2nd leg between the two teams. He will be key if Barcelona are to qualify for the Champions League Final.
