SBC Summit Americas: Latin America is quickly becoming one of the most exciting regions for betting and casino businesses. Strong player demand, a mobile-first audience, and very different regulations from country to country make it full of opportunity, but also challenging to navigate.

On Thursday, 11 June 2026, Stage Five at SBC Summit Americas will host the Latin America Sports Betting & Casino track. This track will bring together operators, suppliers, regulators, and tech experts to explore how companies can succeed in a market that is growing fast but remains highly fragmented. The focus will be on real-world strategies around product development, technology, and market entry that reflect how the region truly works.

SBC Summit Americas: Practical Insights for a Mobile-First Region

Across the sessions, delegates will dive into how AI is reshaping the player experience, what makes games perform well in mobile-led markets, and how regulation is evolving throughout Latin America. The agenda will also explore how lottery operators can refresh their offerings by creating modern, player-focused experiences that keep users engaged.

Rasmus Sojmark, CEO and Founder of SBC, said: “As more countries across Latin America embrace a regulated gaming market, success depends on understanding the demands of local players, creating product catalogues that are designed for mobile, and applying technology in a way that enhances trust, safety, and long-term engagement.

“This track examines how operators and suppliers can innovate to create great player experiences and build businesses that work for the diverse markets across Latin America.”

SBC Summit Americas: Technology, Growth, and Player Experience in Focus

The track opens with The LatAm Betting Boom: Technology and the User Experience, a panel looking at how technology is changing the way players interact with betting products across the region. Speakers will discuss how operators are using AI and machine learning to better understand bettor behaviour, spot growth opportunities, and work with suppliers to build products tailored to mobile-first players.

Another key session, The Future of Sports Betting in Latin America, will explore the region’s rapid growth and how regulation, mobile adoption, and increased investment are opening new doors for operators. The panel will also highlight where the biggest commercial opportunities are and how businesses can position themselves to meet rising demand.

SBC Summit Americas: Designing for Players on the Move

Mobile-First Design: Games Designed for Being on the Go will look at why mobile optimisation is critical in Latin America. The session will explain how suppliers are adjusting gameplay, features, and performance to suit players who mostly bet and play on their phones.

Meanwhile, Cross-Platform and Cross-Channel Innovation: The Future of National Lotteries in South America will focus on how lottery operators are modernising their platforms. Speakers will explore how combining mobile, online, and retail channels, along with instant games alongside traditional draws, can create more engaging and varied player experiences.

SBC Summit Americas: Industry Leaders Sharing Their Expertise

Confirmed speakers for the track include Marcos Bonetti (Co-Founder & CMO, Appuesta), Ximena Martinez (Chief Marketing Officer, WPlay), Emilia Perez (Marketing Director LATAM, Rush Street Interactive), Andrea Rossi (Commercial Director, Betsson Group), and Pablo Viana Ruiz de Aguirre (Head of Latam, RETAbet).

The Latin America Sports Betting and Casino track is part of a wider agenda designed to help delegates understand the region. Other relevant tracks include Payments & Tech, Regulation & Compliance, Leaders, and Player Protection.
