There had been 20 groups from unique regions in the League of Legends Worlds 2024; however, there are now just eight left. With perfect Swiss degree performances from Korea’s Geng Esports and China’s LNG Esports, six greater groups from the LCK, LPL, and LCS have booked their spots in the playoffs.

Here are all of the certified groups (and their Swiss degree statistics) for the League of Legends Worlds 2024 Playoffs:

  • GenG Esports (3-0)
  • LNG Esports (3-0)
  • Hanwha Life Esports (3-1)
  • T1 (3-1)
  • Top Esports (3-1)
  • Bilibili Gaming (3-2)
  • FlyQuest (3-2)
  • Weibo Gaming (3-2)

No team has secured a playoff spot this year. FlyQuest, hailing from North America, is the handiest Western team going head-to-head against the juggernauts of the East.

Quarterfinals

The first round (quarterfinals) of the Worlds 2024 Playoffs will begin on October 17, 2024. There could be the most effective one healthy per day; the winner will proceed to the next level, even as the loser will be removed.

Here is the schedule for the quarterfinal matches of the Worlds 2024 Playoff:

Match 1: October 17, 2024 (5 am PT/ 2 pm CET/ 5:30 pm IST/ 9 pm KST)

Match 2: October 18, 2024 (5 am PT/ 2 pm CET/ 5:30 pm IST/ 9 pm KST)

  • Hanwha Life Esports vs Bilibili Gaming

Match 3: October 19, 2024 (5 am PT/ 2 pm CET/ 5:30 pm IST/ 9 pm KST)

  • Top Esports vs T1

Match 4: October 20, 2024 (5 am PT/ 2 pm CET/ 5:30 pm IST/ 9 pm KST)

  • GenG Esports vs FlyQuest

Those matches are predicted to be electrifying as a number of the exceptional LoL esports teams could be scuffling with each other. This includes LNG and Weibo Gaming. The former team put in extraordinary performances at some stage in the Swiss stage and is one of the contenders to win the event. The latter, the remaining year’s LoL Worlds finalist, will look to put off LNG again, similar to what they did within the LPL summer season of 2024.

The following two fits, Hanwha Existence Esports vs. Bilibili Gaming and Pinnacle Esports vs. T1 are predicted to be the most aggressive, as these teams have several excellent LoL players on their rosters.

Ultimately, the matchup between Geng Esports and FlyQuest is broadly predicted to head in the direction of the previous. But whatever can appear in Lol esports, and given that FlyQuest is the West’s simplest wish on the occasion, there’s a lot on the line for them.
