TwIndian legendary skipper Mohammad Kaif, also the assistant coach for Delhi Capitals, the top team on the points table this season shared a message of appreciation for all frontline warriors and medical personnel, and social activists who have been fighting against the second wave of Coronavirus in the country.
Mohammad Kaif is known as the Under-19 World Cup-winning team of 2000, he is known for his simplicity on and off the field and his bond with other Indian legends like Sachin Tendulkar, Pathan brothers, and Yuvraj Singh, and many more.
Since the past few weeks, India has been under a great crisis where the country is fighting against the second wave of Coronavirus amidst a shortage of beds, a shortage of essential medicines, and liquid oxygen for treatment. The country’s healthcare system has been drained out absolutely where even doctors have become helpless and many lives have been lost due to the unavailability of beds and oxygen. The governments failure to be prepared for the second wave despite experts warnings has clearly shown out and is putting the citizen of the country in great risk.
Since the beginning of the second wave of Coronavirus infections, the doctor, frontline workers, the cleaning staff, and social activists of the country have come together to work and fight against Covid-19. Many social activists have started donation drives of essential medicines and oxygen in big metropolitan cities where the infection and death rates are high.
Kaif thanked all the frontline warriors, medical staff, activists who have been working day in and day in fighting against Covid-19. As athletes who have a higher audience on social media platforms, Mohammad Kaif certainly has used his digital reach for a good cause and what is constantly needed, at times like these it is everybody’s duty to show gratitude to those who put their lives online to save other and make sure they know that we are proud and thankful for them.
Deeply grateful to our entire medical fraternity, frontline warriors & social activists helping our country. India will always owe the greatest debt of gratitude to them for putting their own lives at risk. We as a nation continue to fight because they don't give up. Ever. 🙏🙏
