Manchester United star forward Cristiano Ronaldo is eyeing some trophies next season with the club. The number 7 said that they are going to win some trophies next year in a video posted by Manchester United’s official website. Cristiano Ronaldo had a decent last season with Manchester United. He scored some important goals for the club last season not only in the English Premier League but also Champions League.
Cristiano’s goals in the Champions League led United to the round of 16 of the competition. But later they were beaten by Athletico Madrid at that stage. Manchester United haven’t been qualified for the Champions League football as they finished 6th in the points table last season. If Ronaldo stays here at Man United this summer, then it will be the first time that he will play UEFA Europa League.
“Let’s believe that next year we are going to win trophies, I believe that Manchester will be where they belong. Sometimes it takes time, but I still believe,” says Cristiano Ronaldo via Manchester United’s official website or app.
Cristiano Ronaldo will be playing under new manager Erik ten Haag from next season as the club has already announced his role. It will be interesting to see whether Cristiano makes it to the playing XI of Erik ten Haag or not next season.
