Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez have made it to the MLS MVP nominees list after helping Inter Miami win the Supporters’ Shield this season. The duo are many of the 34 gamers grappling with the award after the eastern conference side recommended their names.

The London Donovan Award vote casting has begun these days (October 7) and could conclude on the 21st of October. MLS gamers, technical groups of workers from the clubs, and select journalists could be balloting on this category.

All eligible players should have played at least one thousand minutes during the regular season. Every club may want to nominate a maximum of two gamers for the award and Inter Miami has a long past with Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez after their contribution to the crew this season.

What did Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez do for Inter Miami?

Lionel Messi led from the front for Inter Miami this season as he scored 17 goals and assisted 10 instances in 18 MLS matches throughout the regular season. He ignored some games because of injuries but controlled to help them win their first-ever Supporters’ Shield.

Luis Suarez also became pleasant and scored 18 times in the league. He additionally assisted seven instances for Inter Miami in his 26 matches for the club.

The David Beckham-owned side did not make it to the playoffs last season, however, and have now finished on top of the table. Lionel Messi and Co. will be hoping that they can move all the way and win the MLS Cup too.
