When Heinrich Klaasen played for the team Sunrisers Hyderabad against Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL, he made a century by smashing the ball in only 37 balls. He played his century by hitting 6 fours and 9 sixes.

4. 37 Balls – Yusuf Pathan vs Mumbai Indians, Mumbai, 2010

In the IPL season, Yusuf Pathan, an ex-batsman of India, hit a stunning century in 37 balls when he was representing the Rajasthan Royals against the Mumbai Indians in the year 2010. He made this century by hitting 9 fours and 8 sixes.

3. 36 Balls – Vaibhav Sooryavanshi vs Sunrisers Hyderabad, Jaipur, 2026*

In a recent match between the Sunrisers Hyderabad and the Rajasthan Royals, 15-year-old opener Vaibhav Sooryavanshi made everyone’s jaw drop after scoring an astonishing 103 runs off just 36 balls at an incredible strike rate of 278.38.

In a match played at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Rajasthan Royals’ young opener, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, created history by smashing a century against the Gujarat Titans in a mere 35 balls. During this magnificent innings, he struck 7 fours and 11 sixes, capturing everyone’s attention with his blistering batting display.

1. 30 Balls – Chris Gayle vs Pune Warriors India, Bengaluru, 2013

When thinking about explosive batting during The Indian Premier League (IPL), Chris Gayle is typically the first name to come to your head. While playing for the Royal Challengers Bangalore back in 2013, Gayle was able to hit a tremendous ton; 100 runs off 30 balls against the Pune Warriors.

In this historic innings, he hit 13 fours and 17 sixes. Moreover, Gayle walked off the field unbeaten, having scored 175 runs in that match. To this day, this innings stands recorded in IPL history as both the fastest century and the highest individual score.
