Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai

Built during the British Bombay era, the Brabourne Stadium is a cricket stadium located in Mumbai, Western India. Both the men’s and women’s cricket teams from Mumbai called it home. 50,000 people can fit there for sporting events. The Cricket Club of India is the property owner (CCI). Up until 2006, the 1983 Cricket World Cup trophy and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) offices were located in Brabourne’s North Stand. However, in 2006, both were relocated to the nearby Wankhede Stadium’s newly constructed Cricket Centre.

Gandhi Sports Complex Ground, Amritsar

Arun Jaitley Stadium, New Delhi

The Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg in New Delhi is home to the cricket venue known as Arun Jaitley Stadium. It was built in 1883 as the Feroz Shah Kotla Ground, and because to its proximity to the Kotla fort, it is the second-oldest international cricket stadium in India still in use, behind Kolkata’s Eden Gardens.

Indira Gandhi Stadium, Vijayawad

The Indian state of Andhra Pradesh’s capital city of Vijayawada is home to the Indira Gandhi Stadium, formerly known as Municipal Stadium. On Sunday, November 24, 2002, the stadium played host to the only One-Day International between India and the West Indies. Additionally, a Women’s One-Day International (WODI) between England and Pakistan was played there in December 1997. England won by 230 runs.

Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, New Delhi

India’s New Delhi is home to the multi-sport Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. It bears the name of India’s first prime minister. It is primarily a football and athletics venue with a seating capacity of 60,254. It was built to comply with the international standards for stadiums established by the International Association of Athletics Federations, the Asian Football Confederation, and the International Federation of Association Football (IAAF). According to seating capacity, it is the 103rd largest stadium in the world, the 27th largest stadium in Asia, and the fourth largest stadium in India.
