List of WWE Raw Tag Team Champions and Their Achievements

5 Min Read

The WWE Raw Tag Team Title is a tag team world championship that is competed for in the WWE on the Raw brand. It was the third global tag team championship and sixth overall when it was first introduced as the WWE Tag Team Championship. Let’s look into the list of champions.

  • Cesaro and Sheamus: The Bar was a professional wrestling tag team in the WWE that was initially made up of Cesaro and Sheamus. They established a record by winning the tag team competition on Raw four times and SmackDown once, giving their team a total of five WWE championships. The two first engaged in a rivalry from July to September of 2016, but when a Best of Seven series ended in a draw, then-Raw General Manager Mick Foley had them work together. Since they joined SmackDown in 2018, they have been referred to as “The Bar,” which comes from their tagline, “We don’t just set the bar, we are the bar!”  Due to Sheamus’ injury and Cesaro’s selection to Raw, the team was forced to break in April 2019.

  • Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson: Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson make up the American tag team The Good Brothers in professional wrestling. Being former two-time WWE RAW Tag Team Champions, they are now contracted to WWE and compete on the Raw brand. They also participate in New Japan Pro Wrestling, where Anderson is presently serving as the NEVER Open weight Champion for the first time. They were first put together in 2013 as a unit of the Bullet Club stable and competed in New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), Ring of Honor (ROH) in the United States, and several independent organisations.
  • AJ Styles and Omos: On the Raw brand of the WWE, AJ Styles and Omos were a tag team in professional wrestling. They had previously won the WWE Raw Tag Team Championship. As Styles’ “personal colossus,” Omos made his debut in October 2020 and supported him throughout bouts. Styles and Omos won the Raw Tag Team Championship at Wrestle Mania 37 in April 2021. They held it for 133 days until losing it at Summer Slam in August of the same year. Styles and Omos challenged The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) to a title bout at Wrestle Mania 37 on the March 22 edition of Raw, and The New Day was accepted. Achieving the WWE and Impact Grand Slams for the first time, Styles and Omos won the Raw Tag Team Championship at Wrestle Mania. Styles also became the twenty-second WWE Grand Slam Champion in the process.
  • The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso): The Usos are a professional wrestling tag team from the United States made up of identical twin brothers Joshua Samuel Fatu and Jonathan Solofa Fatu. They go by the ring names Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso, respectively. They are both currently signed to WWE, where they compete on the SmackDown brand and hold the titles of Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions. They have each held the Raw Tag Team Championship during their third reign, as well as the SmackDown Tag Team Championship during their fifth reign, the longest tag team title reign in WWE history. Together with their brother Solo Sikoa, their cousin Roman Reigns, his special counsel Paul Heyman, and honorary member Sami Zayn, they form a stable known as The Bloodline.

In their third reign, the Usos are the current RAW Tag Team Champions. To combine the RAW and SmackDown Tag Team Championships, they defeated RK-Bro.
