With two years still left on his contract, Liverpool see no reason to cash in especially with Diaz himself publicly stating he’s content.
“I’m very happy at Liverpool, I’ve always said so,” Diaz said during international duty earlier this summer. “If Liverpool give us a good extension or I have to see out my two-year contract, I’ll be happy. It all depends on them.”
