The second half was no different as Liverpool created chance after chance against the home opposition.

Curtis Jones after a good run with the ball found Mohamed Salah wanting in the far side of the penalty area. The Egyptian made no mistake and scored his second of the night.

However, Porto’s misery was not over yet as Firmino came late on and scored twice to round off the victory for Liverpool.

Brazilian’s first goal involved a horror goalkeeping show from Diogo Costa who came off the line despite it is not required at all. Firmino passed the ball into the net with the keeper chasing the ball sprinting back to his goal. It perfectly summed up the night for the Portuguese giants.

Meanwhile, Liverpool has now won two consecutive matches and is firmly in control of the group. They previously beat AC Milan in the first match 3-2 at Anfield.

Liverpool next faces Manchester City in the Premier League. The city comes into the game after losing to Paris Saint Germain in their Champions League game.
