The Wanda Diamond League series now moves to London after another record-breaking evening in Monaco last weekend. Actions of London Diamond League will take place on Saturday at London Stadium, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, London, UK.
With just four meetings to go, the race for the Diamond League Final is heating up.
Olympic 100m and 200m champions Noah Lyles and Letsile Tebogo will resume their rivalry in the men’s 100m with the American winning a thrilling battle in the 200m in Monaco.
Dutch distance legend Sifan Hassan will be bidding for her first Diamond League win since 2022 as she returns to world-class track action in the women’s mile.
Olympic 100m champion Julien Alfred makes he first 200m appearance of the season, while 400m hurdles series champion Femke Bol will be hoping to claim her fourth win of 2025.
Greek long jump king Miltiadis Tentoglou, discus star Roje Stona and Ukrainian high jump queen Yaroslava Mahuchikh all headline their respective events.
And in the pole vault, all eyes will be on Britain’s Molly Caudery, who will be aiming to reach new heights in front of a home crowd roaring her on. That is, if she can soar above the American favourite and world number two, Katie Moon.
With just five meetings left in the series, London Diamond League is a major chance for the athletes to get more points on the board and secure their tickets to the Wanda Diamond League Final in Zurich on August 27-28.
