WWE’s popular tag team of Angel Garza and Humberto Carrillo, known as Los Garza, won the AAA World Tag Team Championship at the Triplemania Regia III event. This is their first AAA tag title, and winning it created the biggest moment of their career.
The match took place on Sunday night in Monterrey (Mexico), which is also the hometown of Los Garza. This emotional homecoming created an unforgettable moment for the fans.
4 Tag Teams, 1 Big Win – Los Garza Shine Bright
This match was a four-way tag team match in which the best tag teams of WWE, AAA and TNA took part:
- Los Garza (WWE)
- Sansón & Forastero (AAA champions)
- Nic & Ryan Nemeth (TNA)
- Pagano & Psycho Clown (AAA fan favorites)
The match was full of action. Each team showed their own different style. Tables were used, blind tags were made, and even the referee was confused.
Turning Point of the Match – Got a Chance from Chaos
The biggest twist came when Psycho Clown dropped Forastero on the table with the Spanish Fly move. The match seemed to be over but Nemeth Brothers pulled Psycho Clown out of the ring. After this Pagano also came out to fight.
In this confusion, Angel Garza did a blind tag which no one noticed. Then he and Humberto tandem slammed Forastero and Angel pinned him. Referee gave the 3-count and Los Garza became champions.
Emotional moment – hometown crowd applauded
After the match, AAA boss Marisela Peña herself gave the belts to the new champions. The entire Monterrey crowd was happy to see their local heroes become champions. This was their dream that finally came true.
WWE x AAA’s Strong Connection
