Premier League defending champions Manchester City are looking for a new left-back in the transfer market this summer. Their left-back Zinchenko left the club this summer and joined another Premier League side named Arsenal FC. Zinchenko wanted to leave the club as he wasn’t getting much game time in Manchester City.
Manchester City’s another left-back Benjamin Mendy is under lot of issues. He also been to jail for not following some rules of the country. Man City wants to desperately sign a left-back and they have identified Marc Cucurella as their potential target.
Brighton’s left-back Marc Cucurella also wants to leave the side (Brighton FC) and he has also handed in the transfer request according to some official reports. Manchester City are behind the Brighton’s men. Marc Cucurella was one of the players teams noticed last season because of his skills. Marc Cucurella had a great last season for Brighton FC and thus teams are behind him this transfer window.
Cucurella wants to join Pep Guardiola’s side as he would love to play UEFA Champions League this season (2022/23). As of now, the deal between Man City and Brighton for the left-back is still very much on (as per Fabrizio Romano).
