Manchester United have a new target set in the midfield position as they look to sign 30-year old Casemiro from Real Madrid. Real Madrid won the UEFA Champions League, La Liga, and Super Cup last season and thus it looks difficult that Casemiro will leave the champion side for the Europa League team (Manchester United).
Man United’s and Erik ten Hag’s (Manchester United manager) priority target is Frenkie de Jong of FC Barcelona. However, Frenkie doesn’t want to leave the La Liga side. So, Manchester United are exploring their options in that particular position. Manchester United on Tuesday night called off the deal to sign Adrien Rabiot from Juventus FC as his wage demands were very high (as reported by Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano on his latest Instagram post).
After their deal for Rabiot is off, they are looking to sign Casemiro from Madrid as reported by David Ornstein. The 30-year old Brazilian is one of the important midfielders of Real Madrid who has won so many trophies with the club. It is highly unlikely that Casemiro will move to the Premier League side as of now.
