Premier League side Manchester City and La Liga side FC Barcelona played a charity game against each other on Wednesday night, 24th August. The club friendlies was kept in the midweek as the teams have to play their league games this weekend. English Premier League has been started and the defending champions (Manchester City) has a decent start as they faced a disappointing draw against Newcastle in their previous game.

They recieved just a single point from this game despite scoring two goals in quick succession. Barcelona also had a decent start to their La Liga new season. After facing a draw in their first game, they won second one emphatically. Barcelona and Manchester City are one of the biggest teams of Europe and thus they acted like them in the game played on Wednesday.

Barcelona was 3-2 up when Memphis Depay scored the goal for FC Barcelona in the 79th minute. But Manchester City’s forward Riyad Mahrez scored the equaliser in the added time to earn a single point from this game. City took more shots on opposition goal still both the teams had equal amount of chances to win this game.
