Manchester City Mulls 100M Euro Deal For Jamal Musiala, To Lock Horns With Real Madrid
Manchester City and Real Madrid are said to get engaged in a fierce battle for German star Jamal Musiala. Other Premier League clubs to have shown interest in the German international are Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea.
The race for next year’s summer transfer is already heating up. Manchester City and Real Madrid are said to get engaged in a fierce battle for German star Jamal Musiala. The midfielder has grabbed the attention of not just these two clubs but that of others as well.
Which Way Will Jamal Musiala Go?
Real Madrid’s interest in Musiala has been boosted by Brahim Diaz’s injury, which has exposed a gap in the Les Blancos attacking midfield depth. The 21-year-old would also provide a strong back-up to Jude Bellingham as the club eyes premier championship titles.
However, it is Manchester City who are slightly ahead in the race. According to TEAMtalk reports, City are the most informed team in the situation, aided by the fact that Musiala has expressed his desire to return to the Premier League.
Moreover, City are winning to declare a bid of €100m (£83.8m; $111.7m) for Musiala, though Bayern Munich is likely to demand for one of their most prized assets. He would potentially make for a long-term replacement for Kevin De Bruyne who might switch to Saudi League.
Other Premier League clubs to have shown interest in the German international are Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea.
Musiala’s contract with Bayern Munich expires in 2025 and the German club have been seeking to extend the contract. However, the midfielder is said to have suggested that he wanted to leave the Bavarians and explore opportunities elsewhere. Should Bayern fail to secure the extension of his contract, clubs are set to make a beeline for him.

Presently, Musiala is one of the top attacking midfielders in the world. In six games so far this season, he has scored three goals and provided three assists in all competitions. Last season, he scored 12 goals and provided eight assists in 38 games, before scoring on three occasions for Germany at Euro 2024.
It remains to be seen how the situation unfolds for the young talent. The upcoming months will be crucial in determining whether Musiala stays at Bayern or sets out on a new adventure in either England or Spain. Supporters will be watching keenly as the transfer saga develops.
