Manchester United and Ruben Amorim have finished the disappointing season at the 15th place and will not be playing in any European competition. The worst season in 51 years for the Red Devils. Many exits and arrivals are imminent and it looks like Amorim wants some players who will help him implement his football.

15th place in the PL- Ruben Amorim’s men have had an abysmal season, Manchester United fans had thought that after Erik ten Hag it would be all butterflies and spring, but practically Amorim it was a difficult job for Amorim as he needs his kind of players to play his intense football and as Ten Hag had made signings according to him, it became difficult for Amorim to deploy his tactics on the players.

A tally of 42 points speaks how they have been in the league in a season where mid-table teams have emerged to compete for European places and top 6 have been all over the place. Almost a point per game and it feels like some 

42 points behind rivals Liverpool-

This would hurt the fans the most, Manchester United not being able to compete with their biggest Rivals. It hurts the most when your rivals win the league and you end in the worst season since 51 years. Ending at 42 points and Liverpool finishing at 42 points more, does add something poetic to the narrative.

This could have been a bandage to a very big problem for Manchester United but Tottenham managed to win the match, the title and the chance to play Champions league even though they are at the 17th place, just one place above the relegation zone.
