After a long wait, Nintendo fans finally have something exciting in their hands the Nintendo Switch 2 and the all-new Mario Kart World. While many games are launching with the new console, Mario Kart World is already making headlines. Why? Because for the first time ever, Mario Kart has an open world where players can freely roam around.
But that’s not all. To make sure there are no bugs or lags in the gameplay, especially in multiplayer mode, Nintendo has also dropped a major patch update Version 1.1.0. This update improves the performance of the game and also adds new features.

General Improvements and New Features:
CameraPlayEnabled:
Now you can show your face in the game using a USB camera (available separately). This feature is available in Multiplayer and Online Play modes. It will be in your hands to turn the camera on or off.
Online Play Added:
Now you can easily play with online friends.
LAN Play Support:
If you want to switch from Wireless Play to LAN Play, just press the L Stick on the title screen and hold the L Button + R Button together.
Ghost Data Feature in Time Trials:
You can upload or download the data of your time trial. This feature will be very useful for competitive players.
Player Icons in Free Roam:
When you are roaming freely in the open world, the icons of nearby players will now appear on the screen.
More Characters From Start:
As soon as you start the game, you will get the option to select more characters than before.
Multiplayer Improvements:
When 3 or more people are playing together, the game control becomes smoother.
No Time Limit for Course Selection in LAN/Wireless Play:
Now you don’t have to rush to select a course. The time limit has been removed.
Update Version Display on Title Screen:
Now the current version will be clearly visible on the game’s title screen, so you’ll know you’re up to date.
