Updated Medal Tally Of The ISSF World Cup Peru

The ISSF World Cup Peru 2025 is one of the premier annual series for Olympic shooting events. The tournament attracts the world’s top shooters across multiple disciplines like rifles, pistols, and shotguns. The first stop of the 2025 season ended with China on top, followed by India.

The second stop of the ISSF World Cup is taking place at Lima, Peru, from 13 April to 22 April 2025. With 400 athletes from 43 nations competing in more than 12 events, the Lina stage is set to be a significant stage to build momentum ahead of the World Championships later this year. India and China, after dominating the first leg, have entered the second leg with a strong opening. However, the USA seems to have control as of now.

The ISSF World Cup Peru opened with the finals of men’s and women’s 10m air pistol events, which saw Indians shine bright in both. In women’s events, Suruchi Singh clinched gold with a score of 243.6 while narrowly edging out her fellow Indian and two-time Olympic medallist Manu Bhaker. The victory marked Manu Bhaker’s first medal this season after finishing in sixth place in the previous leg, while Suruchi Singh claimed her second consecutive gold in the event.

In men’s 10m air pistol, China’s Hu Kai claimed gold while India’s Saurabh Chaudhary won the bronze. India and China have yet again claimed the top spots at the medal tally of the ISSF World Cup Peru, however, the USA is giving them a tough competition as it continues to hold the top position.

Team USA has made a remarkable impression at the ISSF World Cup Peru with Kimberly Rhode winning gold, Samantha Simonton claiming the silver, and Dania Vizzi earning bronze in the women’s category. Meanwhile, in the men’s category, the USA continued their domination with Dustan Taylor winning the gold and Christian Elliott earning silver. Overall, the USA stands at the top with five medals, while India is in second place with four medals, followed by China.
