Mumbai Indians (MI) are struggling this IPL season. They have played four matches but won only once. That win came at their home ground, Wankhede Stadium, when they bowled out Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) for just 116 runs and chased it easily.

Now, they are back at Wankhede to face Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), and fans are hoping for a strong comeback. The good news? Star pacer Jasprit Bumrah is returning to the team, which is a big boost for Mumbai’s bowling attack.

Bumrah Is Back

Bumrah’s return will make Mumbai’s bowling strong again. He will join hands with Trent Boult and Deepak Chahar, giving MI a solid pace line-up. But this also means that Ashwani Kumar, who did well in his debut match against KKR, may have to sit out.

Another positive for Mumbai is the possible return of Rohit Sharma, who missed the last game due to injury. If he plays, the batting will also get stronger.

Batting Still a Worry for Mumbai

Even though MI have power hitters, their batting hasn’t clicked yet. In the last match against Lucknow Super Giants, Tilak Varma struggled to score quickly. He may stay in the playing XI, but might not get to bat at No. 3 because of the presence of Ryan Rickelton and Will Jacks.

So, the pressure will be on Suryakumar Yadav to take more responsibility in the middle order. If he gets going, Mumbai could post a big total or chase well.

RCB Ready for Wankhede Challenge

Royal Challengers Bengaluru lost their last match, but their performance wasn’t too bad. They were four wickets down early, yet managed to reach 170 runs. With the Wankhede pitch being batter-friendly, players like Virat Kohli and Phil Salt will enjoy playing their shots here.

RCB also has a strong bowling lineup with experienced players like Josh Hazlewood and Bhuvneshwar Kumar. If they bowl tight lines, Mumbai may find it hard to score freely.
