Gareth Barry

Gareth Barry has the most number of appearances by any player in the Premier League. He has appeared in the league matches on 653 occasions from 1997 to 2001. He has spent the most times with Aston Villa with 365 appearances and then 132 caps for Manchester City, 131 for Everton and 52 for West Bromwich Albion.

In his Premier League career, Barry has 53 goals and 64 assists. The midfielder emerged as a champion with Manchester City in the 2011/12.

James Milner

James Milner started playing in the Premier League in 2001 and continues to feature in the league. He has made 634 appearances so far in the league. He has played for several clubs including Leeds United (48), Newcastle United (94), Aston Villa (73), Manchester City (147), Liverpool (230) and Brighton and Hove Albion (15).

The midfielder has scored 55 goals and has 89 assists in the most prominent league of the world. He has won three Premier League titles: 2011/12, 2013/14 and 2019/20.

Ryan Giggs

Ryan Giggs appeared in 632 games in the Premier League. In his PL career that spanned from 1992 to 2024, he was seen only in the colours of Manchester United. The midfielder scored 109 goals 162 assists in his PL days and won 13 seasons with the Reds.

Frank Lampard

Frank Lampard is the fourth player in the list. With 609 caps, he has scored 177 goals and boasts of 102 assists in the Premier League. From 1993 to 2015, the midfielder has represented three clubs in the league. He appeared 148 times for West Ham United and was seen the most in Chelsea colours for whom he featured in 429 games. He played 32 times for Manchester City. He won three PL titles all with Chelsea: 2004/05, 2005/06 and 2009/10.

David James

David James is the only goalkeeper in the list. He has featured in 572 matches of his Premier League days that spanned from 1992 to 2010. He played for Liverpool (241), Aston Villa (67), West Ham United (91), Manchester City (93) and Portsmouth (134). He maintained 169 clean sheets and made two assists in the league.
