When it comes to the most WT20I appearances in women’s cricket history, Harmanpreet Kaur, the Indian women’s cricket team captain, recently in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 claimed the milestone of playing 200 WT20I matches. Following her, the second record holder for the most WT20I appearances in women’s cricket is Suzie Bates, the aggressive opening batter, who holds this record with 184 appearances in the shortest format of world cricket. Coming to the third player, England top-order batter Danielle Nicole Wyatt-Hodge has played 183 WT20Is. Here are the top players with the most WT20I appearances in women’s cricket history. 

1. Harmanpreet Kaur – 200

Harmanpreet Kaur, who recently touched a marvelous record of playing 200 WT20I matches for India Women, the experienced batting all-rounder, has been performing important knocks while also having wicket-taking ability when the team needs it the most. 

With 4,147 runs in WT20Is at a fantastic average of 30.05 and a best score of 103 runs, she has also scored 17 half-centuries in her career. With this, she stands at the top of the list when it comes to the most WT20I appearances in women’s cricket.  

2. Suzie Bates – 184

Suzie Bates, a fantastic all-rounder for the New Zealand women’s cricket team, began her international career in 2006, and with nearly two decades of her career, she has produced many important innings for New Zealand Women. With her 4,739 runs in T20Is in 177 innings and an average of 28.89, along with a strike rate of 108.49.

Highest score of 124, including 28 half-centuries. This makes her one of the most dangerous batters in women’s cricket. With her 184 appearances in the shortest format of cricket, she finds herself at number two on the list of most WT20I appearances in women’s cricket history. 

3. Danielle Nicole Wyatt-Hodge – 183 

Danielle Nicole Wyatt-Hodge, England’s one of the most experienced top-order batters, Danni Wyatt-Hodge, in her nearly 16 years of international career has scored 3,497 runs with a strike rate of 129.51 and an average of 23.78. Including 3 blistering tons. Her highest score is 124 runs, including 21 half-centuries. With her 183 matches in WT20Is, she currently holds the third position for most WT20I appearances in women’s cricket. 

4. Ellyse Perry – 177

Ellyse Perry, the 35-year-old experienced Australian all-rounder, has been producing many important knocks for Australia Women with her ferocious batting style and right-arm fast-medium bowling. She has scored 2,353 runs in Women’s WT20Is in 177 matches, at an average of 30.16 and with a strike rate of 117.47. While bowling in Women’s T20Is, she has taken 129 wickets in 177 appearances, with best figures of 4/12. 

5. Smriti Mandhana – 169 

Smriti Mandhana, one of the most aggressive batters in world cricket, has been producing many record-breaking performances as an opener for India Women. In her T20 career, she has scored 4,492 runs in 169 matches, with the highest score of 112 runs in her career, at an average of 30.35 and with a strike rate of 125.40, including 35 half-centuries.
