The inaugural MotoGP Bharat 2023 event provided a thrilling glimpse into the future of motorcycles, courtesy of Ola Electric, India’s leading EV company. This electrifying showcase took place at the Buddh International Circuit (BIC) in Noida, delighting sports enthusiasts from across the nation.
A historic moment unfolded as Marco Bezzecchi, riding for the Mooney VR46 Racing Team, clinched victory in the inaugural Grand Prix of India, becoming the first MotoGP rider to do so. However, it was not just the racing that captivated the audience; the motorcycle portfolio on display stole the spotlight at the Fanzone. Ola Electric’s booth was a hub of activity, attracting motorsport enthusiasts from around the globe, all eager to catch a glimpse of what the future of motorcycles holds.
In a groundbreaking move, Ola scooters were replaced by traditional ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) two-wheelers for on-ground support activities, including marshal support. This decision aligned with MotoGP’s commitment to sustainable operations, as Ola provided the event organizers with a fleet of its revolutionary S1 scooters for use during the MotoGP.
