The Group Stage of the MLBB MSC 2025 came to an end on July 27, with the top eight teams earning their spots in the Knockout Stage. A total of 16 teams fought for survival in the Group Stage from July 23–27, but only half moved forward, while the bottom eight teams were eliminated.

The Knockout Stage is scheduled to take place from July 30 to August 2 at Boulevard City, Amazon Arena, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where these eight teams will compete for the prestigious trophy and a grand prize of a $3 million prize pool for the entire MSC 2025 event, with $1 million for the champion.

The eight teams advancing to the Knockout Stage are:

  • Team Liquid PH
  • Aurora Turkey
  • Mythic Seal
  • ONIC Indonesia
  • RRQ Hoshi
  • SRG OG

Knockout Stage Format and Matches

The Knockout Stage will follow a Elimination Bracket.

  • All matches will be played in a best-of-three format.
  • The Grand Finals will be played in a best-of-seven format.

The matches will be livestreamed on MLBB Esports’ YouTube, Facebook, Twitch, and TikTok from 14:30 IST each day.

First-round matchups:

  • Team Liquid vs Aurora
  • Mythic Seal vs ONIC Indonesia
  • SRG OG vs RRQ Hoshi
  • Team Spirit vs ONIC Philippines

Group Stage Recap

The Group Stage saw thrilling battles as 16 teams were divided into two groups:

  • In Group A, Team Liquid dominated by winning two consecutive games, while Mythic Seal also performed well to secure their spot. SRG OG and ONIC Indonesia struggled at first but managed to bounce back through the Lower Bracket and qualify.
  • In Group B, Team Spirit and RRQ Hoshi were outstanding, winning all their matches. Aurora and ONIC Philippines had a tough time in the Upper Bracket but made strong comebacks through the Lower Bracket to enter the Knockout Stage.

Some big names failed to advance. CFU Gaming missed crucial matches, Virtus Pro despite their strong Wildcard performance couldn’t keep up in the Group Stage. Team Flash and HomeBois faced heavy challenges, while Ultra Legends, Corinthians, DianFeng, and Area77 failed to win a single game and were eliminated.
